On the initiative of the authorities of the City of Poznań, the Renaissance courtyard of the Górka Palace, the seat of the Archaeological Museum, can be visited free of charge. Thanks to funds released from the municipal budget, we open the entrance on Klasztorna Street to the public. Passing under the beautiful portal from 1548, decorated with floral patterns, you can enter an interesting space and take a look at the only Egyptian obelisk in this part of Europe.

From now on, the entrance to the Museum has been moved from Wodna Street to Klasztorna Street. For the convenience of visitors, a ticket office and a museum shop have also been installed there. After buying a ticket, you visit our permanent and temporary exhibitions.

The courtyard and exhibitions are open from Tuesday to Friday from 10.00 to 17:00, on Saturday from 11.00 to 18.00 and on Sunday from 12.00 to 16.00. On Mondays, the Archaeological Museum is closed.
