The Library collects and provides access to a wide range of books and journals covering various aspects of archaeology, complemented by publications in related disciplines such as history, art history, anthropology, ethnography and numismatics.
A substantial part of the collection comprises publications related to the research carried out by the Museum staff, including the archaeology of Poland, Europe, and Northern Africa with particular focus on Egypt and Sudan.
The reading room provides access to a reference collection of dictionaries, encyclopaedias and lexicons, as well as recent publications.
