From 19 September to 4 October 2020, the post-plein-air exhibition "Manor house culture themes 2019" will be on display in the courtyard of the Archaeological Museum in Poznań.
The exhibition will present paintings from the sixth plein-air painting workshop organised in 2019 by the Museum of the Gentry in Dobrzyca. The participating artists created unique images of landowners’ residences. Each painting is a creative interpretation of the manor and its natural surroundings.
The following artists took part in the plein-air workshop: Halina Borys, Michał Cander, Patrycja Kowal, Krystyna Małecka, Marta Mrówka, Hanna Mróz-Witaszek, Julia Myga, Maria Sadowska, Hanna Styczyńska, Mateusz Wyczółkowski. Their canvases feature: the manor house in Oporów, the castle in Rydzyna, Dobrzyca landscape, the palace in Zalesie, the palace in Garzyn, the lady from Pawlowice, the palace in Góra, the palace in Rokosow, the palace in Gola, the palace in Szypłowo.
