The research interests of the Department of Non-European Archaeology are focused around the Mediterranean zone and Africa. We carry out excavation, participate in international research projects, organise and curate permanent and temporary exhibitions. The Department houses artefacts from North Africa, including Egypt and Sudan, as well as other non-European collections.
