We have updated guidelines and regulations for visiting exhibitions in the main building of the Archaeological Museum in Poznań (Górka Palace, 27 Wodna Street) to make your visit safe in the time of COVID-19 pandemic.
I GUIDELINES
The museum is open for visitors in the following hours: Tuesday-Thursday 10.00 - 17.00
Friday-Saturday 11.00 - 18.00
Sunday 12.00-16.00
On Mondays the Museum is closed
All visitors (except for children under the age of 4) are required to wear
nose and mouth coverings
Visitors who take off or slide down their face coverings will be asked to
leave the museum
Visitors are required to sanitise their hands or gloves with a sanitiser
placed at the entrance to the museum
When it is necessary to verify the health of persons entering the
museum, the Museum Guard can check the temperature using a
contactless thermometer
To enter the museum you need to have a valid ticket bought in the
museum’s ticket office or an invitation.
Only one person can be present at the cash desk; other visitors are
asked to wait at a distance of 1.5-2 m. from one another
Contactless payment methods are preferred when buying tickets,
publications, souvenirs, etc.
The cloakroom is closed until further notice. For that reason, it is not
allowed to bring large luggage to the Museum
10. A maximum of 30 people may be present at the museum at a time 11. Foot traffic is obligatory in the museum (excluding wheelchairs and
strollers)
12. The visitors are obliged to keep a minimum distance of 1.5-2 m from
one another (this does not apply to families)
13. All exhibition elements intended to be touched have been
temporarily moved from exhibition rooms
14. For sanitary reasons, audio guides will not be available until further
notice. We invite you to use the application "Muzeum Archeologiczne w
Poznaniu" on personal mobile devices equipped with headphones 15. Please do not touch showcases
16. A lift is available only for people with disabilities. It can accommodate up to 2 people at a time
17. Group visits, educational events and guided tours are temporarily suspended

exhibition area following prohibitions apply:
carrying firearms, sharp and dangerous items bringing animals (except for guide dogs)
consuming drinks, meals, ice-cream and other sweets smoking and using e-cigarettes
visiting after alcohol or drugs
sliding on floors, running, sliding down stair railings
entering rooms which are not intended for visiting
using mobile devices (mobile phones, tablets, etc.) to make a phone call or listen loud to multimedia
listening to the reader’s tracks from the application of the Archaeological Museum in Poznań without headphones connected to the device (during the pandemic these should be the visitor’s private headphones)
making loud conversations that disturb others in visiting exhibitions
taking out information materials that are intended to be used in exhibition rooms

- it is not allowed to use tripods, flash or other forms of lighting - photos or videos taken can only be used for private purposes
The use the photos or film materials for purposes other than for private use, in particular images and films showing the exhibits, exhibition halls, parts of exhibitions as well as the interior and architecture of the Museum's seat - Górka Palace, requires written consent of the director of the Archaeological Museum in Poznań

purposes, also the payment of appropriate fee, set by the director, is

5. The consent of the Director of the Archaeological Museum in Poznan is
also required in the following cases:
- conducting artistic and business activities - organizing advertising campaigns
III. SAFETY RULES
During the visit, the instructions given by museum employees and guard should be followed
Parents or carers are obliged to take care of the children with whom they came to the Museum
The Archaeological Museum in Poznan is protected by the Internal Security Service - the Museum Guard, acting on the basis of the Act on the Protection of Persons and Property from 22 August 1997
IV. FINAL PROVISIONS
Visitors are required to behave culturally
Visitors are required to follow the instructions given by the Museum
employees also in matters not covered by these regulations
Complaints and requests from visitors can be submitted to the Director
of the Archaeological Museum in Poznań on Mondays from 14.00-15.00
