Exhibition curators: Kateriny Zisopulu-Bleja and Alexander Przybylski
The exhibition titled "Łazarski. From underneath" shows relics found during the renovation of the Łazarski Market. These are trade-related items, such as seals or weights, but also less obvious finds like... a sewing machine and Art Nouveau stove tiles. For over a hundred years, the Łazarski soil hid artefacts which, collected in an exhibition at the Archaeological Museum, give a sense of the atmosphere of the district's former life.
The exhibition was created in collaboration with the "Abyssinia" Residents Association (www.abisynia.org). It will be displayed in the courtyard of Górka Palace at 27 Wodna Street. Admission is free.
