The exhibition presents the history of viticulture in Sudan (ancient Nubia), the work of wine presses, the production of local wine amphorae as well as the trade and transport of amphorae with wine from the Mediterranean to Nubia in the Meroitic, post-Meroic and Christian periods, i.e. from the 2nd century BC to the 14th century AD.
